Don't be confused by the name, there's nothing Streisand-y about the song, just a dope beat and a funny ass chorus, i think
Not gonna lie, the singing kinda haunts me. But the song is really cool and catchy. I like the easyspeaking rap as well. It really captures a messy relationship, I think. And that speaks to me.
I love Chiddy. I download all his and Xaphoon's stuff. I just like their style and beats and this is no different, hopping on a classic and making it their own. very cool.
On first listen I was like 'ok, this is amusing I spose' but then I continued pumping it and I gotta say that damn line sticks with you. It definitely makes you wanna go clubbin'. whether it's a discoteque or clubbing baby seals is really up to your temperament...
Now I wouldn't normally post something you couldn't download illegally, but this song was excellent and I wanted to make sure it worked. Have a listen then happy hunting for it on the interweb
I'm Beamin' (Chess Club Remix) - Lupe and his merry band of men
Can't say enough about Lupe. One of the best concerts I've ever been too and an all around intelligent guy. This is a cool mixing of sounds and styles from Asher Roth to B.o.B., it's an instant download just to see what this Chess Club thing is all about.
Side Note: though I hate the teaming up of superstars in the NBA, I'm loving the G.O.O.D. music and Chess Club collaborations and hope they keep it up
